The role involves producing renewal quotes following-up with the customer, and selling the value of support programs to customers. Strong organizational skills are needed to ensure renewal information and status is recorded accurately for billing and future reference.
Primary Duties
1. Identify renewal opportunities and produce renewal quotes
2. Ensure diligent follow-up with customers and work with internal departments to ensure that support is renewed prior to expiration
3. Ability to sell the value of support programs to customers
4. Excellent communication skills with customers primarily by phone, but also via email
5. Receive, review and process incoming POs and payments
6. Assist in additional administrative duties as required
Skills and Knowledge
1. Strong communication skills, both verbally and written
2. Solid sales skills with a customer focus
3. Detail oriented with ability to meet deadlines, and work under pressure
4. Experience in an outbound phone sales/support role
5. Able to work as part of a team as well as own initiative
6. Confident with calculations and using formulas and percentages
7. Flexible approach to taking on ad hoc responsibilities
